Path of travel Short Version: Any overhanging object must be over 80" from the walking surface. Objects that protrude into the path of travel more than 4" must have the lowest point no higher than 27" from the walking surface. Generally the path-of-travel must be 48" or wider.

Cable Crossings. If the height of the cable is 0.5" or less, a ramped covering with a slope of 1:2 is acceptable.

If the cable height is over 0.5" a ramped covering with a slope of 1:12 is required.
